General Education Development (GED)

The General Education Development (GED) is a computer-based test. Cost for the entire test is $120 (each of four parts is $30). Previous scores from 2013 or earlier will not carry over, unless individuals only need to pass the Constitution portion of the test and have achieved the minimum score of 2250. Fees and policy are set by ISBE and Pearson.

GED Transcripts and Certificates

GED Certificate/Transcript Request Form
The High School Equivalency Certificate cost is $10 and the Transcript cost is $10. Personal check, district check, cash, or money orders are acceptable forms of payment (no credit/debit cards).
