Mr. Cox graduated from Jamaica High School in 1967, then graduated from SIU in
June of 1971. He was hired as a fifth & sixth grade PE teacher at McMillan School
from August 1971-1983. He later become the Principal of McMillan, and served
from 1983-1991. He worked as the Assistant Superintendent from 1991-1995,
and then served as Superintendent from 1995-2004. He concluded his public
service serving on the Regional Board of Trustees from 2012-2023.
