Congratulations to Golden Ruler Recipient #44 - Randy Hird, Social Studies Teacher

Randy Hird exemplifies so many of the retired teachers in Vermilion County who continue to serve after retirement as a result of their passion for students and local community. Mr. Hird is a retired teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent who has returned to the classroom at Westville High School to pour into students as a social studies teacher where he has served for the past three years. His contributions as a teacher, FCA advocate, and enthusiastic supporter of the school is consistently recognized by his students and the staff with whom he interacts each day at Westville High School.
