Vermilion County - Regional Office of Education #54

Mrs. Cheri Duensing has taught for 25 years with 22 of those years being in Danville District #118. Currently she is a 5th grade math and science teacher at South View Upper Elementary School. Mrs. Duensing heads the social committee and is always trying to bring some creative fun to the staff. She also shares the leadership responsibilities for PBIS with two others. Mrs. Duensing is kind and compassionate toward her students and co-workers. She looks for ways to celebrate her students while also holding them to high standards, both academically and behaviorally. It's rare to see her without a smile on her face.
