Katie Brewer is an invaluable member of our school community, and truly the backbone of our building (Edison Elementary). She leads our PBIS program with organization and insight, analyzing behavioral data and helping staff support students proactively and compassionately. Katie is also deeply involved in school activities and events, helping create a positive and connected culture for students and staff. As a school social worker, she provides meaningful support to students through individual and small-group work, building trust with families and guiding students through challenges with care. Katie also supports staff with patience and expertise. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to student success make her very deserving of the Golden Ruler recognition.
