Amber Tutwiler currently serves as a Kindergarten Teacher at Edison Elementary in Danville. She has been teaching for District 118 for 22 years. Mrs. Tutwiler comes to work each day ready to make amazing things happen in her Kindergarten Classroom. This year has been very challenging, and she has faced these challenges with confidence and enthusiasm. She spends part of her day teaching in-person and the other half teaching Kindergarten students remotely. Mrs. Tutwiler has spent many hours learning the best methods to teach young students in a remote setting with google classroom. She continually communicates with her families and helps them feel comfortable with their child coming to school for the first time. She is a leader at Edison and we are lucky to have her.
