Mrs. Rebekah (Abby) Carlton is a third-grade teacher at Garfield. Abby is the AVID Site Team Coordinator and is teaching our remote third graders this year. Mrs. Carlton has done a phenomenal job learning all things virtual while continuing to promote AVID at Garfield. She is innovative, energetic, and passionate about her teaching. She goes the extra mile to communicate with families and be sure her students and their parents have what they need. Abby has made her remote students feel extra special this year, as she always has fun experiments and goodies for them to enjoy. Thank you, Mrs. Carlton, for all you do!
