Miss Beard works with our students at all grade levels in one way or another. She goes into classrooms to support teachers and meets with groups online to provide academic support and interventions. She is active in the community working with our youth through Project Success and coaching basketball at North Ridge Middle School. Miss Beard has taken on additional responsibilities at Garfield this school year and is always willing to help out any way she can. She volunteers to lead extra-curricular committees and activities for our students, most recently our Black History Program's Step and Praise Dance Teams. We are grateful for her positive attitude and willingness to do what is best for kids and our community. Thank you, Miss Beard!
